About

I build the customer marketing function the rest of the company actually leans on.

I'm Sarah Burr — a customer marketing leader with fifteen years of experience inside hyper-growth B2B enterprise tech. My career has been a single thread: making customers the loudest, most trusted voice in the room.

I've operated as an individual contributor cranking out case studies, as a manager running global reference operations, and as a leader designing and launching Customer Advisory Boards. I've lived through IPOs, category creation, and product launches — and the through-line is always the same: customers move the business when their stories are surfaced with intention.

Today I work with a small number of B2B companies at a time on three kinds of engagements: fractional leadership coverage, advocacy program scale-up, and Customer Advisory Board launches. If any of that sounds like what your team needs, let's talk.

How I work

A few things I believe.

Customers are the heroes of the story.

Pipeline, product, and brand all move faster when customers are at the center of the narrative.

Operational rigor and heroics.

Customer engagement SLAs, content production processes, and precise measurement rituals balance quick-turn, fast-ship campaigns.

Executives are highest-leverage advocates.

CAB programs and exec engagement motions should feel premium, exclusive, and high-bar.
